Chapter 1 – Gnarl's Dream

The air was filled with screams. Thousands of different colored minions were fighting against creatures that resembled dragons. In rare cases few black minions could be seen amidst the more colorful flashes of red, brown, green and blue. The sky on the other hand was full of toxic clouds and bursts of flame. White flashes of ice cold air also cut through the very fabric of the stormy sky. Yes, the spring is finally here. The first green plants are pushing their way trough the ground and the first coltsfoots are already in full bloom :3 Dog droppings bathe and smell in the warm sunlight and final snow piles keep on melting.

It had been few days after he had revealed his plans to the Black minions to soothe their nerves. After he was complete with his plans, the Overlord's reign would continue as it had so far and he wouldn't have to worry about the upper level nor that his kingdom would be threatened also from down below. The first astral coils were already pushing their way to the surface to materialize as something similar to tower gates, powered by his unholyness. But this was much more native kind of energy to this world and to be honest, a bit more powerful than what the Unholy Lord possessed.

Ah, it's that time of the year again which i adore, when i feel that i am so close to the nature. What time you ask? Well Midsummer! So. Apparently i managed to screw up slightly while making this account. In what area? The birthday. The day, 19th of October is correct. Year 1989? Definetly umm, not. Correct year when i popped into this grim, dark yet enjoyable world, was 1992. So that would make me exactly 18 years old.

Oh great. Just, great. My eyeglasses broke :C I have to put my nose against the screen so i can see what is happening. Literally. Everything beyond 5 to 10 cm's away from my eyes becomes blurred and all the colours get mixed up. What to do? Try to get some sleep i guess, even though it is only 19.26 here. Or atleast stay in my room.

So what happened? Well, i was trying to go for a little trip around the neighbourhood with my bicycle. I started to clean my lenses because they were covered in greasy thumbprints. The amount of the homework I have received and what the teachers are excepting of us is just purely wrong. It is humongous and by the end of this season it will be a miracle if I am not in full sanity.

Current "loot" so to speak includes of half a hundred euros (more to come apparently :D) and Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of Earth -videogame for PC. It's a bit buggy now and then, but when it co-operates it is a real thrill to be played.

Is looking fine. Really fine. I didn't manage to get any summer jobs at all, so I have the whole summer vacation for writing considering that I do not intent to follow the majority of my family to our usual summer vacation spot here in Finland. So, first of all, summer was a success and absolutely fun. It's amazing how much fun it was in comparison to the last summer with my ex. I am truly, truly amazed at the difference. Me and my cousin spent few weeks at our summerhomes that are quite close to eachother (fact I will never get over regarding how amazing and fantastic it is!) doing this and that that I had the chance of doing last time BEFORE I started dating. Call me childish, I do not care a bit. Fun end of June at summerhome was fun. I also visited the Medieval Marketdays at the city of Hämeenlinna which also included a free visit to the actual C

Reasons are as follows:

1.) Tests tests and even more tests. These are the primary reason why I have not been able to write in a while.
2.) Styduwork studyprojects and even more studying. Goes hand in hand with the tests but demand their own separate time.
3.) Health conditions. I have been having some minor toruble with my personal, physical health. Nothing too serious, just something that has rendered me uncabable of properly doing this and that. Including studying so. Yeah. It has not been a good autumn for me.

Seeing as Overlord is copyrighted to Triumph Studios and Codemasters (I think they are against SOPA and Protect IP Act, not totally sure but in any case), Deviantart might just be forced to remove, block, delete and so on, all future works involving ANY COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL of ANY description.

This needs to end. American Congress can't go dictating laws like these since they are going to affect the whole world. Think about it for a moment. Gmail. Located mainly in America. Deviantart. Google in general. Facebook. Everything else.

SOPA is the reason why wikipedia has "blocked" itself for about 24 hours or so (been blocked for a while now before posting this). Front page of google has a brief summary of how SOPA and PIPA will affect us all if they pass. Other major Internet based services are joining in on the fight against SOPA.

So if you are living in America and are reading this now and are CONCERNED about the future. Go to the page detailed in this work, read, and then contact your nearest congressman or other politician. Be stern. Express your concerns and do not let them hang up on you. For us living outside the states, all we can do is spread awareness. Perhaps our local political forces will act against it too and understand as well that this is not the way to handle things, that SOPA is bad.

That's my ten-cents on the subject. Chapter 4 coming up once I really, really finish it. (Apologies for pulling your legs and giving you false hope in terms of Bet, Vessperion, what not This will be replaced with the proper Chapter 4 of Bet Between Gods, so don't you worry. So I was wondering this whole past week about Vergal Garghan for some unknown reason (Bio is in the making as well for those who need it so don't worry) and got inspired by the picture of him I found (made by , go check her channel out if you haven't yet, it is absolutely magnificent and so was her personal view of Vergal It will actually be standardised formal outfit or so for Vergal from now on!) and her poem, Synn drabble (found here: [link]) so much that I decided to let him out.

So, what followed was a summarised poem about himself, Darklords, what happened after he got back from the Oververse and why he is chasing a certain stone that could grant him a possible power to visit a realm of the dead in Oververse. He has... Rather grandiose plans doesn't he?
